Energy consumption accounts for a quarter of the state's greenhouse gas emissions with overall demand rising into the foreseeable future. State agencies have been working closely together to provide residents with safe, reliable and clean energy at reasonable rates, as part of the statewide 33% Renewable Portfolio Standard.
