June 19, 2008
On June 19, 2008, Chairman Pfannensti, of the California Energy Commission and Chair of the LUSCAT, sent a letter to Mary Nichols, Chair of the Air Resources Board (ARB), that discussed the LUSCAT submission to the ARB's scoping plan process and transmitted the comments LUSCAT received from stakeholders regarding submission.

The Land Use Subgroup of the Climate Action Team's (LUSCAT) draft submission to the Air Resources Board and the 2008 Haagen Smit Symposium proceedings that will be discussed at a May 14th public meeting in Sacramento are now available.
The draft LUSCAT report is available below, and the 2008 Haagen Smit Symposium proceedings can be found at this link: www.arb.ca.gov/planning/hsmit2008/hsmit2008.htm
The May 14th meeting is being conducted to provide interested stakeholders the opportunity to ask specific questions concerning various elements of the LUSCAT's draft report and Haagen Smit Symposium proceedings in order to prepare for submitting written comments on the two documents by May 21, 2008. The meeting is open to the public and full participation by all parties is encouraged.
