Biodiversity & Habitat Adaptation Strategies

Strategy/Description:

The Biodiversity and Habitat working group has developed adaptation strategies to maximize species and habitat resiliency in the face of climate change. Participating agencies were active in this sector through the incorporation of climate adaptation strategies prepared for existing planning documents. A preliminary set of strategies were developed and submitted for peer review, followed by a cross-sector review. Public workshops, additional cross-sector meetings and stakeholder meetings provided critical input before the draft biodiversity strategies were incorporated with other sector material into the CAS.
